The Mystery of Google Remarketing

Like most Digital Agencies we love Pay Per Click marketing in all forms. We love google PPC, we love LinkedIn PPC, we love Facebook PPC, we love Youtube PPC.... anyway you get the idea we quite like PPC.
So when Google launched 'Remarketing' in March 2010 we were just a little bit excited and fully expecting it to change the digital landscape. Remarketing allows you to show your Ad across Googles display network but only to people who have visited your site and haven't converted.

This gives you a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th bite of the cherry and is an absolute must for any serious Google PPC campaigns. Over the past 12 months we have helped our clients convert their flat, one dimensional, PPC campaigns into full blown, dynamic, remarketing campaigns.
So What's The Mystery You Might Be Thinking...
The mystery, and to our great surprise, is that the vast majority of PPC advertisers have shied away from Remarketing, mumbling about how complex it is and not wanting to pay twice for the same traffic.
Firstly, complexity is why agencies exist. That shouldn't be an excuse not to do it - that's our job, that is why you pay us!
Secondly, the conversion stats from Remarketing have to be seen to be believed. We've seen improvements in nearly all campaigns and the majority of them are significant.
